    m1a shooter- please be advised that i do not personally know
    the m1a socom shooter but i did see the rifle and was there when he showed the range owner the surplus brazillian ammo that he had been shooting when the rifle blew up. the consencus was that the rifle probably fired out of battery since the magazine was totally destroyed and the trigger group was blown down & out of the rifle. the only thing i can add is the i
    looked at the remaining shells and the ammo looked very good w/ no corrosion or blemishes i cannot add anythig further-sorry
