Point Shooting Progressions with Roger Philips - Reno, NV - April 17-18th
Gents,
I'll be hosting Roger Philips class on Point Shooting Progressions in Reno, Nevada on Sat-Sun, April 17-18, 2010. The class will be held at the Washoe County Regional Shooting Facility. Force on force training has proven beyond any argument that the traditional shooting range methods are simply not suitable for reactive gunfighting. In this course, Suarez International Specialist Instructor Roger Phillips will teach you the "Fight Continuum". Roger has studied extensively with Suarez International. He has also researched virtually every threat focused shooting system for many years. This course distills it all into one well thought out and extremely applicable system that dovetails neatly into the regular Close Range Gunfighting matrix, presenting the full aspect of the integration of sighted and unsighted fire at CQB distances. This is an outstanding class that, without fail, has students saying nothing but great things about both the material and the level of professionalism Roger brings to the class. So take your close range gunfighting skills to the next level and SIGN UP NOW at the link below!!! http://www.suarezinternationalstore....ROD&ProdID=803 Best regards. |

BUMP!
Okay gents, The clock is ticking and there are only 20 weeks left until we have this class! The class is filling up, so if you don't want to miss it, SIGN UP NOW!!! I also believe Gabe is giving a 25% discount off any class on the 2010 SI training schedule to those that sign up by November 30th. That takes the price of this class from $400 down to $300!! Roger has spent a great amount of time developing a Point Shooting curriculum (Point Shooting Progressions, Advanced PSP, PSP/Fighting at Night, Long Gun PSP, etc). This is the entry level PSP class for those interested in moving up to the more advanced classes and taking their shoot 'em-to-the-ground skills to a WHOLE different level. So sign up now at the link above. You won't be disappointed!!! |
Basic courses
So I have purchased my first pistol a little over a week ago, and while I am completely fired up to learn to use it as safely and effectively as possible, I am in no way qualified for this shoot and my wife would definately not be going for me travelling across the country for my new "hobby".
That being said, I am very interested in the Suarez basic courses and there is one being hosted not far from my father in laws vacation home (class is in Bellvue, cottage in Coldwater, I am suburban Detroit). My question is aimed at those of you that have taken classes by Suarez before, how quickly do the basic classes fill up? How far in advance should I register? And are the classes definately worthit? I know that there are tons of pistol defense courses out there and its hard to differentiate good from bad, especially for me in my infinite noobiness.... Thanks in advance! Cheers, Collin |

I took Roger's course In November, 08 and it really opened my eyes! I was amazed at what I could do without the sights.

You are still the guy that stands out the most when it comes to "train as you would fight." :smoking: How's business? |

I took Roger's course in this past fall in Farmington, NM. Excellent course and well worth the money.

Trained under Roger in Tyler, TX a few months back. This is some dirty, nasty, lethal *****. You'd be hard put to find more practical, common sense training for the handgun........JR
