G38 x 9 Rounds fit in Mags
 

I am picking up a used Glock 38 tomorrow. I bought some spare mags for it & find I can fit 9 rounds in the mags. Is this common & if so, has anyone had any function issues with loading 9 rounds in the mag.

I could only get 8 in mine. A number of Gappers have gotten 9 in the G38 magazine. I have not heard of any problems when 9 fit.

The only mags I had jam issues with were Clinton mags that I got an 11th round in by mistake, causing the gun to jam.

I have a number of G38 magazines. None of them will accept 9 rounds...except those which have a 7151 extension! :cool:

All of mine take 9 easier than my G30SF's took 10.

I just bought a G38 with the 3 magazines and they all only hold 8. According to the spend casing, mine was a 2006 manufacture if that makes a difference.

All 5 of my mags hold 9. The two from the factory and the 3 spare all hold 9.
