mn 91/30 scope mount questions
 

I was looking at some older mounts and wondering if a Savage 340 side mount would work on an mn 91/30? The stock looks like it would need inletted and the holes drilled tapped but otherwise, would it work?

There were several I looked at. A sheet metal steel, a weaver made with a detachable plate and a steel part that has a swept back shape.


28 bucks and a scope beats 300+ if I can get this to work.I have already looked at ways to alter the bolt handle to make that work also if the side mount is a cheaper alternative and solid.


So what do you think? I apologize if this isnt in the right section.
