Shotgun laser recommendations
 

I will be using the LED Surefire forend with my 870, and was wondering which type/style of laser would work best? in terms of pressure switch placement on the forend, performance of the unit overall etc...

Do you mean placing a laser in the forearm instead of a light?

If so, honestly, I'd rather have the light. Anything in the center of the cone will be hit by the SG. No need for the laser at all with the light on an SG. Unless you are going for the elusive "take down the hostage taker with a head shot from a slug" move.

Otherwise - no idea what laser would work best for that.

No, I mean what laser would work best in conjunction with a Surefire forend, I want to have both.

I just wonder if a laser would hold up to a lot of recoil from a shotgun. Personally I do not see the point of a laser on a shotgun, but that is just me and my opinion.

i agree ^ lasers are pointless on a shotgun
