Source for "official" 10mm 200g cast loads?
I bought a box of Colorado Cast 10mm 200g LFP bullets, and want to roll my own loads for a Colt Delta Elite. I have seen pet loads here and there, and have looked at several reloading manuals, but cannot find any 200g cast lead loads provided by bullet or powder manufacturers. Does anyone know where I can find them?
Going back to pet loads, does anyone have any good 200g hard cast (non gas checked) 10mm loads in the 1100 fps range using Unique, Bullseye or 2400 (the powders I use for .38, .357, .44, and .45 Colt and have on hand)? Thanks. |
Accurate Powders lists the following load for a cast lead TC 200 gr bullet:
Powder: A9 Start load: 10.6 @ 1018 fps Max load: 11.8 @ 1157 fps Primer: Winchester WLP COL: 1.25" In my copy of loadbooks, Lyman lists load data for 9 different powders. Since you mentioned Unique and Bullseye, I'll list that data here. Projectile: 200 gr cast lead fp (#2 alloy) COL 1.253" Primer: CCI 300 Brass: Norma Unique: Start: 5.7 @ 1031 Max: 6.4 @ 1154 Bullseye: Start: 5.0 @ 1034 Max: 5.6 @ 1102 They also have data for: Red Dot, Blue Dot, 800X, 231, WSL, & A7. Let me know if any of those are of interest and I'll list them. |
Thanks! Looks like I need to get a copy of the Lyman manual--is that from their reloading manual or their cast bullet manual?

I believe that the Lyman data was from their reloading manual. |
Thanks--I just picked up a copy of the manual today.
