357SIG chrono results and reloading log
I've offered my chronografing-results spreadsheet and my 357SIG reloading log to others writing in other GT forums, so I may as well offer them here, too. I don't pretend that they have particularly useful info or fabulous loads but for one great PD load with the 124XTP, but some of you may find them of some benefit.
The chrono results are on an Excel spreadsheet, while the reloading log is 4 images, JPGs, the largest file of which is 359KB. E-mail me at jeffreybehr(at)cox(dot)net and I'll send them. Let me know if you're using a dial-up connection and I'll send them one page at a time. Here's a sample. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...dinglog002.jpg |

Curious as to why you stoppped at 8.7 grains of Longshot with the 124gr. XTP. I have gone to 9.3 with about 1,425. I do not have the SD, but it does not matter because they group under an inch at 15 yards with a G32 factory barrel.

My current project is a 200g. plated-PH load in my 37s for practice and maybe target. |

Your chart seems to indicate 1,400fps with 8.6gr. of 800x. Actually, I was surprised you would get 1,400 without going over 9.0gr. Maybe the extra half of an inch barrel helps. As for me I am looking for the fastest, safe load without sacraficing accuracy. |
