357 Sig 100gr Pow'RBall
Has anyone done and expansion/penetration test on this particular ammo?
The website ballistics look pretty impressive
Caliber: 357 Sig.
Bullet Wt.: 100gr Pow'RBall.
Test Barrel Length: 4.6 Inches.
The same load in 9mm +P seems to be pretty decent, but I have heard reports of the 9mm version not expanding, and tumbling instead. Never saw anything to back up those rumors, though. For 357SIG, I would stick to Ranger and Gold Dot - both seem to be fine against heavy clothing. 357SIG is already known for being able to reliably feed pretty much any kind of ammo, thereby negating the other advantage of Pow-R-Ball - more reliable feeding in guns that dont like standard JHP.
