I want to buy an Automatic knife. I would like the one handed opening in case of emergency. It is Legal For Me to own same here. I would like a 3 to 3 1/2 inch blade. Can you make some recommendations of what I should be looking for. I understand materials but I am a Knife Tyro. Can I get an adequate/Good one for the $100.00 range income is an issue. Thank you.

Don't know your local laws. That's up to you to follow up on. Unfortunately $100.00 doesn't buy much in terms of a quality knife anymore. I recommend that you google or check out Pro Tech knives. They are some of the best.
