Toledo, OH Zoo Carry

Guys:

Heading to the zoo in Toledo, OH next weekend and wanted to find out if you can carry in the zoo? I am from MI so not aware if can do in OH. In MI it is no issue.

It looks like CCW is not permitted. I did a search here:

Thanks. What would be the repercussions of carrying in their, if stopped? I tried registering on the site, but having issues getting registered?

In Ohio it is a crime to knowingly carry a firearm in a place that has a sign prohibiting it. You could be arrested. If convicted, you could face jail time.

That is one part of Ohio's law that we all hate. If we're planning to go out and do stuff, we have to know in advance if the business we're going to has a gun buster sign posted.

I'm also going to be heading there in a few weeks. Do you guys know if they have any restrictions with knife carry? I'm just talking about a regular folder like a Benchmade griptilian or Spyderco Endura. I feel stupid even asking but you never know in today's world.

Knife laws vary widly from city to city. Anything more than a Swiss Army Knife blade length could be problematic, depending on where one is.

I was talking specifically about Toledo Zoo.

Not very helpful but about the best I've found so far.

Ohio law allows you to carry up to a 4" folding knife (no switchblades or butterflies). But... a few townships have their own laws that limit the blade length to 2" or 2 1/2".
