Oil improves functioning?
JR,
I've discovered that a thin film of oil on weak ejecting 22LR ammo improves my ISSC's functioning. I'm told this increases chamber pressure. With weak ammo, would this be an issue in a modern semi-automatic rimfire? Could this also be a fix for underpowered centerfire ammo? |
All I can tell you is oil or lube in the chamber is not a good idea. The fluid is going to take up room because it will not compress. I think I would avoid this pratice.
