6.5 creedmoor
Hey Zak i have a quick question for you, I just recently bought a DPMS AR10 in 6.5 Creedmoor to do some long range shooting, I was looking at the Leupold VX-III 8.5X25 Scope and the Zeiss Conquest 6.5X20 Scope, Which do you think will work better for long range shooting, Also do you have a brand or model that you like better than the others?
Thanks a bunch, Mike. |
I've written several articles about selecting optics for practical and practical long-range shooting. (Articles section on demigodllc.com).
The 6.5-20x50 Conquest AO has IPHY (1/4 inch) clicks, not MOA. It also has a very limited amount of elevation adjustment (43 MOA). This is per zeiss.com I'd recommend to look at the Leupold 4.5-14x50mm with the M1, M2, or M3 knobs. If you have the money, buy per my article. |
