Got an AMD-65 today
And the first thing I did was snap the stock in two trying to open it. Dang it.

You must be very strong to snap the steel in two. Push the lock button down HARD as you are putting force on it (NEXT TIME).
You are kinda SOL now; i've not seen much option for stock replacement on the AMD65. Find a local welder to fix where it is snapped. Quote:

The only option for replacement AMD-65 folding stocks I know of. Seriously, just exactly HOW in the CRAP did you do that?!?! |

He-man strength and being stupid. It was tight as hell and I was trying to muscle it while hitting the release and it just cracked. I ordered a replacement with cheek weld from apex. Hopefully I can swap it out without further error.

Just make sure to shoot it sideways. Be all Gangsta with it. :tongueout: |

I should be able to bang that pin out and slap on another AMD stock, right?

Fixed...with the usual trinkets. Just need to slap a dot on.

Looks good. Definitely looks better than the first pic!

It's not pot metal. Should be able to weld that up with no problem. May have been a bad weld from factory. I welded a cheek riser to mine, so I know you can weld on it.
