I hereby submit a general-purpose apology covering everyone who has ever covered that song.

Cass Elliot covered that tune?

I was unaware and prostrate myself before you for suggesting that you were incorrect.

Please have Silent_Runner thoroughly beat me so that I may atone.

NB: I do know that Buddy Rich had a version of The Beat Goes On sung by his teenaged daughter. Even Buddy Rich couldn't make the song worth listening to.

Paul53 12-02-2012 17:08

You get beatings for free? Geesh, the place I go, I have to pay for an extra hour for the handcuffs and whips!

What is the difference between a sadist and a masochist?

The masochist is the one that says "Beat me beat me please please beat me!"

The sadist is the one that answers "No!"

The sainted and uniformly lovely ladies of the OAF never deny us our deserved beatings.

Da Bullman is, as always, a man of discriminating taste and exquisite style.

Just hope he doesn't start to likin' wicker. :scared:
