GSSF Pistol Sales
Glock's National Sales Manager has realigned distributor territories. Effective January 1, 2013, Ed's Public Safety of Georgia may only sell new Glocks in Georgia and Alabama. The Carolinas have been cut out of Ed's territory. No effect on used Glock sales.:dunno:
|
I guess that means that Carolinans better call Ed's in the next couple of hours, and order their Glock.
We in Florida met that fate more than a year ago. |
Yes we did. Luckily we can still get the leo trade in glocks very reasonable from Eds, "until glock" takes that away too. I still frequent them on my trips to Blue Ridge. At least when I retire ill become a Georgia resident:supergrin:
|
Ed's has been #1 in service to GSSF members. I always stop by Ed's store when I go to the Conyers match, and visit with them at matches they attend.

I wonder if Ed's will have any G17 mags by the time Griffin rolls around? They might have them now. I don't know.

You, being a (somewhat) central Georgian, could just take the drive or call them up to ship some mags. |
they had some saturday but they where full price for gssf members from what i was told

I think Ed's full price is around $31.00, far better than Gander's $39.95, but Gander sold out at that price.

Everybody seems to be sold out, regardless of price. This must be an amazing time for the sellers. I'm glad I stocked up on used full-cap mags when they were $12.
Botac appears to have nothing but 10 (or fewer) round Glock mags. Aim appears to be out of stock on Glock mags. CDNN has had their web site shut down for about a week (not taking any internet orders for anything). I'm curious...what are people not short on mags are doing for organization of their mags? I have to go arrange and count them...but I think I have at least 20 G17 FML full-caps, a handful of AWB 10-rounders, and probably a similar number of G21 mags. For anyone who thinks that's a lot, they come in handy for matches...not having to reload mags during the match. Does Glock ever bring replacement tubes to the matches? I've had them replace bad mags in the past, but had to ship them to Smyrna. I've got some G21 mags that I suspect have had the feed lips widen out of spec. |
ok, this is frustrating. I just organized my mags. As luck would have it, McFeely's sent me an incorrect order of large bins and when I had them correct it, they told me to keep the wrong ones, so I had 4 bins not usable on the RL550 just sitting and a bunch of G21, G17, G19, and G26 mags to sort. I found that I've misplaced at least one G19 "pre-ban" orange bodied 15-round mag. It's one of a pair I bought from Glock at an early GSSF match.
I've got enough G21 mags to shoot MajorSub and HeavyMetal without any reloading :) |

I have a G-17 and one 10 round mag... I am shooting 2 divisions this weekend I hope everyone is patient.

Either that, or that you're shooting Saturday. I'll be shooting/ROing Sunday. If you showed up at my stage with 1 mag, I'd probably loan you 5 more, tell you to load them all, and leave them when you're done. |

Just make sure you're there Saturday. And keep looking for me until you find me.

I wish the Glock National Sales Manager would revisit the Nebraska territory.........
GT Distributors (of Texas), is the Nebraska LE distributor, and they are not even worth talking to. I sure miss OMB guns. |
