Feinstein Gun Ban: list of weapons
|
They better not even pass any of this nonsense.
|
Although the list makes my stomach turn, I found it interesting there were no Glocks on it?

That list is absolutely ridiculous. All Thompsons are banned by name? When was the last time ANYONE was shot with a Thompson? WWII?
|
^^^^probably with in the Gun Free city of Chicago within the last 72 hours.....LOL
|
Yawn. Not worried. The Republicans in the house are skating on thin ice and they know it. Allowing any of this to pass is political sucide.

They don't have to ban the Glock, or virtually any other semi-auto pistol. It will be banned through the magazine ban. They, with the exception of the 36, are CAPABLE of ACCEPTING a magazine that holds over 10rnds. See what they did there? |
KELTEC Sub2000 made the list under AR Type.

Uses AR magazines. Therfore, it's just as evil. Notice the Ruger Mini-14 TACTICAL is listed, but not the Ranch? |

Mine used Glock mags. |

OOps. My bad. I was thinking of the SU-16. :whistling: |

I wrote my Congressman and both my senators. All Democrats. Sucks living in Portland, but whatever.
Make your voice heard, people. In the age of the internet, contacting your representatives is easy! |
BAHAHAHHAHAH
*gasp* Hard to breath after reading so much ignorance. The Ruger Mini-14 TACTICAL is banned. But, not the Ruger Mini-14. It's ok. God, this woman and her trolls are so ignorant. |
The entire bill proposal is listed on feinswines website under issues. I would quote the entire thing to post here in an effort to emliminate traffic to her site but it may be against the rules and regs here.
It's like 94 on steroids. |
Why doesn't she state the facts? Face the facts... What is percentage of killing that involve a so called assault riffle!
Why doesn't she mention Fast n furious? Eric Holder? |
I think it's pretty safe to say that Feinstein's bill is way too overzealous and extreme, and has no pass of chancing the house. I've heard rumor that it also doesn't have any chance of passing the senate either, but we'll see about that.
Now is the time to really put the house to the grindstone and let them know that if they even think about passing this, they will not have a job come next election. |
I don't see Colt M4... Am I good?
|
Heres a link to the entire bill.
Does it mean that all weapons and mags already owned are grandfathered in? I'm not sure if I'm reading it right. http://www.documentcloud.org/documen...ml#document/p3 First page, it says it excludes all weapons lawfully possessed at the date of the Bills enactment. |
Don't forget magazines with a capacity of 10 cartridges.
|
These manufacturers should rename their products - that would show 'em! :whistling: Call their products 'Bunny Rabbits' and call magazines and accessories 'Pretty Flower Petals' and 'Rainbows'. And they can certainly think of a new name for 'the shoulder thing that goes up' in case that gets banned too. The manufacturers could even put a disclaimer on their product packaging and website declaring that they do not sell AR-Type anything anymore - just 'Bunny Rabbits'
/sarcasm |
Crap is not gonna pass. Will not make it thru the House. Maybe after 2014 midterms but not now. Gonna keep driving the gouging and madness though.
But I find it interesting the way they name specific firearms. If the S&W M&P15 is banned can S&W change a small feature (say change the safety selector switch to a different style) rename it the S&W MSR15 and be able to sell it? I mean laws are full of loop holes so can the firearms industry finds ways thru them? |

They have the DSA SA58 PKP FAL listed under Pistols. So I'm guessing my Entreprise Arms FNFAL G1 is in the clear. But they don't make a 10 round magazine. Yet..
