g19 gen 4 with apex extractor owners
Is this a permanent fix for erratic ejections? Please if you have the Apex extractor comment below.

anyone?

I never had any BTF's with my Gen4 G19, but the Apex Extractor did fix all erratic ejections I was having. If you can spare the extra coin I would get it. For me it was "peace of mind" knowing all ejection issues are a thing of the past.

Yeah, that Apex trigger is nice.
But, some gunsmiths can just work on your Glock trigger, put in a lighter spring, and make it better than a Apex. Posted using Outdoor Hub Campfire |
It may, or may not be. The 40 caliber seems to work better than the 9mm, though. If nothing else get yourself one of those new, 'drop nosed' ejectors, and an, 'H.R.E.D.' plunger rod. You should notice an improvement. As to the exact degree of improvement? I really don't know. ;)

Through 900+ rounds my Btf ratio has been 1.2%

if an older glock extractor that does not have the issues does not work in a gen4 with issues, will the apex still be of use to someone? Perhaps someone can answer that for you. I tried an older non-dipped non mim extractor in my g34 that has issues and it did nothing to fix my erratic ejection. I am thinking the true problem my gun has is too strong of a spring and I don't know if the apex extractor will help with an issue like this. I think it was meant to fix crappy extractors, but i could be wrong. Hopefully a few more will chime in
