Is this a non-dipped extractor? USA G19

Got this new 4th gen-all USA made G19 the other day at a local dealer. Test fired today (30 rounds because I only had 2 mags with me and didn't plan on shooting.) all lightly ejected to the side and 1 hit me in the head (could have just been a "limp wrist") other than that one shot ejection was very consistent. Much more so than my gen 3 17. Love it so far, maybe these USA glocks aren't so bad. Just putting the info out there for you guys!

Interesting, this one has a test fire date of 8/12.

Congrats!!

"Made in the USA" and non-dipped extractors are what I have been longing to see on new-production Glocks.

Maybe now I can buy a new Glock instead of sticking to used early production gen3's.

PMFJI...could y'all direct me to a link/thread about the "dipped" vs. "non-dipped" extractor? I don't want to hijack this thread...I remember seeing some discussions about this, but don't remember what the issue/solution was.

Thanks.

The dipped extractor is on the Gen4 G22, top picture.
The non-dipped one is on my Gen3 G35. Notice the "dip" on the top of the extractor.

Theres alot more going on with an extractor and proper extraction than that little dip can affect. I worry more about the %100 made in America aspect, but then im biased as ive seen the downfall of the Motor City.

As much as I hate to agree with that statement, you're right.

Okay guys, I'm done hijacking the thread.:wavey:
