Always have had 1911 45's.I was thinking a Glock 30 sf. In looking around, I have not found anything with as good a rep in compact size.

I think you'll be happy with it, as I've been with mine. Like you, I started a long time ago with 1911s. However, I find room for both platforms. I wouldn't be surprised if you did, too.
