I ask again...

I have been here quite awhile. I have searched this site as well as many others, and have yet to get a positive response.
Is there ANYONE who has ever even seen a Glock with the serial number prefix MD? Does anyone currently own one? Does anyone have any information on this prefix?
Any help is surely appreciated. It has become frustrating knowing that pistol is not 'one of a kind', or even rare from what I have gleaned, and yet I can not find even one person who has ever seen, handled or owned one.
Thanks all!

How many millions of Glocks do you suppose are out there?

Somewhere out there is a full production run of that SN prefix... perhaps it's not in an English speaking country? Perhaps they are not GlockTalk Aware yet???

May your Quest be fruitful before you die...

Looking at your previous thread, it seems you already know the approximate manufacture date. What exactly is it that you want to know so bad?

I suspect his initials are MD and he wants to find/buy one with those serial numbers?

However... not sure how anybody answering him would help in that quest.

I'm reminded of Forrest Gump, "Mama always said...." (I'll leave you to fill in the blank).

Although I appreciate your response, you have added nothing. The addition of the word "bad" at the end of you message is accusatory, and unnessicary. I'm not seeking confrontation, but information. My question was clear.

Again, I say that I appreciate the interest in my post, but also, you have added nothing. I am seeking information, and am not interested in refrences to Forrest Gump. My question was clear.

He said he owned it already in his previous thread on this topic, which was locked.

Look through the S# thread and you will see a lot of missing prefixes & one gun listed prefixes, not every Glock ever made is in the list. According to this: MD prefix G19s were made 03/90.

# 1 Gunna 03-03-2013 17:01

Was kind of wondering the same thing...

Yes, thank you. I am aware of its manufacture date. Have you ever come across this prefix youself?

I think I've held three Glocks (including my G20) and never paid attention to the serial # on any of them but mine.
This was a G19 only prefix and I've only shot/held 45 & 10mm so no.
Check out the G19 sub forum because all the MD guns were G19s.

Accusatory? Ok then. I asked a question so that maybe we could all understand what specific information you are looking to find. If people better understand what you're looking for, they might be able to provide better assistance.

When a Mod closes your thread, it is generally frowned upon to start another thread with the very same topic. Understand my curiosity now?

Thanks for the response. I have searched far and wide on this subject to no avail. They were production pistols, there must be alot of them out there, just trying to find even one... Other than twoguns.

Well they made a maximum of 1000 (MD000 to MD999) out of a possible 18 million plus (AA-ZZ + AAA-ZZZ x 1000).
so that is about .005% of the possible production.
That really isn't many.

No sir, I do not. My question was right in the 0 ring. I'm simply trying to use this forum of Glock owners to find someone who has had, or has, this prefix. What's the rub? Aren't you qurious to know why only one other person has ever even seen one? Is this not an important enough question to meet the standards here? Am I in the wrong section of this forum? Have you yourself ever handled a G-19 with this prefix? If you are able to answer, I would like to know why my last post was closed, before my question was resolved. Thanks.
