:wow: Holy smokes! I knew we had all thought they might be a 2K gun, but $2700!?!

WT 03-18-2013 14:18

Might not look too bad in a holster made of rattlesnake skin.

fnfalman 03-18-2013 16:08

Hey, it's a USMC Recon gun. What do you guys expect?

For that price? Diamond encrusted grips and gold grip screws. :tongueout:

faawrenchbndr 03-18-2013 16:52

Sad part is,.....that is not even the gun the Marines will get.
They will see a loosely goosey production line Colt.

bac1023 03-18-2013 17:16

That's nuts

Roering 03-18-2013 17:32

Hey what do you know? It's in stock!

Teecher45 03-18-2013 18:41

Had one at LGS Saturday for 1799.

Jason D 03-18-2013 19:31

I hope it comes with a case of KY.
It's a good looking gun which should retail for about 1200.

That's more like it, but I'd take the Special Combat Government over that.

RetailNinja 03-18-2013 20:09

That's a lot of dough for an off color Springfield MC Operator!

matt_lowry123 03-18-2013 20:52

I'm going to drive there first thing in the morning to buy it!!!

Ah...no! It's a Colt. The real deal. The one that actually passed the trial and didn't lose out like the foreign job.

tango44 03-18-2013 21:42

Man I wish I had the money for it!

Paul53 03-18-2013 22:34

Going for less than a grand on "SlickGuns." There is some sanity out there.

mleroux21 03-18-2013 22:39

All I can say is WOW!

Cause we all know that government small arms contracts are based solely on performance right?

Whitakers, not 2nd amendment. Good luck. I was there Friday afternoon (was close by because of work) and Whitakers had 2 Colt LW commanders, went back Saturday to buy, both were gone. Ended up with a Ruger Commander.

Nice find on the ruger!! I went by whittakers last week, and it was packed. I'm not sure if people were buying or just looking around. I left shortly after getting in. Too packed for me!! I was kidding about going out and getting one though. I'm not sure where kygunworks is? Lexington maybe?

2nd amendment charges an arm and a leg. Did you see the colt 6920 they had for 2400? That place charges MSRP, then let you talk them down 30 dollars. I really don't see how there still open. I'd love to see what they'd charge for one of these colt MARSOC.

Last thing I'd read from colt is they'd be about 2k. Just wait for the hysteria on the first ones to pass
