GT COOKBOOK: Baked Corn Was The Hit (Again) At Thanksgiving
Ever since I can remember, our family has always had baked corn at every holiday. It is a tradition that I am continuing and one that my friends truly appreciate. :)
It is DELICIOUS and the great part is that it's super easy! Here you go! 4 cups of frozen corn (thawed of course) 4 large eggs 1 cup of heavy cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour 6 Tablespoons of sugar 1 teaspoon salt Dash of cinnamon Dash of nutmeg Preheat your oven to 325 degrees and butter (or PAM spray) an 8x8x2 baking dish. Then, simply whiz all the ingredients around in a blender for a few seconds until they are blended smooth. Pour into the baking dish and bake until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean. (about 45 minutes to an hour) Delish! Shoeless |
