37mm/M203..why?

Im just wondering what is the purpose of the 37mm/M203 launcher on civi. AR's? does someone actually use it? It just looks like a novelity Item to me. Unless you use it, then I guess I gotta get one! lol. I fired the M203 alot in the service and enjoyed doing so. I think these are for flares only right?

there is a variety of munitions available for it.
even some device that allows you to shoot 18 22lr rounds at once.
out of a 37mm
i saw one once for 500$ i think.
also, there are cs, and rubber non lethals.
and flares yes. not sure about availability of any 37mm rounds.
hit 37mm.com for info.

The main reason for a 37mm/M203 launcher mounted on an AR-15 is that it has an extremely high CDI factor.

CDI=Chicks Dig It.
