? CO2 powered pistols
Does a CO2, or other form of air-fed pistol or rifle's accuracy / velocity decrease as the CO2 cartridge becomes depleted?
I ask this question because I would like to buy an air pistol for backyard shooting and I am not sure if I want a spring gun / CO2 powered / or a pump type. I'm looking for the best trigger-pull and something that is consistant in accuracy / velocity. Thanks, -Craig |
CO2 powered guns will lose power as the cartridge is used up. Depending up on the gun the first 10-15 shots will be solid then it will steadily decline.

OK thanks,
I was hoping that the cartridge just filled another chamber that held a certain volume of the gas. Oh well. Does anyone have any suggestions for an air pistol that has a pretty light trigger? -Craig |
