New Carry Gun
 

I had an XD .40 that I used as my carry gun and after carrying it for a while I didn't like how bulky it was and how wide it was. I went in today to look at guns to try and find a slimmer carry gun. I saw the Sig 239 and fell in LOVE. I have always wanted a Sig and I am now the proud owner. I love how much slimmer it is and how much nicer it feels IWB. It's a touch heavier but thats all good not to noticeable.

They gave me 310 for my XD so the total out the door was $430

That's what I carry as well.

I load mine up with 165 gold dots. I also put a hogue rubber grip on the gun.

You can also send in the gun to get retro-fitted with the Short Reset Trigger (SRT). I think I'm going to have that done.

I love it so far.

Mine eats Federal Hyrdos. I also have Hornadays and Gold dots as well.

I bought mine from CDNN investments (DL their 20mb catalog). I also bought a set of sig-lites (night sights) but think marginally of them. I think Mepro's are easier to pick-up in dim light. In no light the sig-lites work fine but that transition period at dusk is hard to see the sights.
