In Dinwiddie you have hundreds of ranges. They are called farm fields. Ask the landowner if you can use a piece to shoot on.

yes thank you i do shoot on my land but what im looking to find out if there are any clubs around here ..and looking for some one in the area to help show wife and i how to shoot better ..

Not sure if Lane at Straight Shooters gives lessons or not. He owns an indoor range in Colonial Heights. The range is just across the bridge from Petersburg. Lane is a good guy. Call and ask.

Lane at Straight Shooters is a great guy. They have a CCW class that lasts about 4 hours on a Thursday night. It will at least teach you the basics. The guy that runs the class is a great guy and is a registers teacher with the NRA. He's also a minister at a local church in Colonial Heights. I'm sure Lane can give you his info and you can set up some range time with him.
