So what about Clark County? Will you be able to carry there with a Utah CCW?

Sounds like it, but you will have to get a blue card at the police station when you get there...

When/what is your trip? I am doing 4 day defensive pistol on 11/9.

dgsaudio 09-29-2007 13:12

Mine is next weekend, the 4 day defensive pistol on 10/5. Should be fun! I'm taking my wife. Coming from a fairly liberal family (for utah!) she's kind of nervous but is staying positive.

It is now official, we're legal in Nevada. I almost put in for a Nevada permit since I have a brother that lives out there, don't need to anymore. I also noticed that Pennsylvania is there now also, thats a new addition too isn't it?

Gorelicks, what's the blue card for?

dgsaudio 10-02-2007 23:26

I think if you're planning on staying in Clark County for 30 days or more (or something like that) you need to go register your firearms with the PD. Dont quote me on the time.

RMTactical 10-03-2007 00:21

It's registration of your gun in Clark county. The blue card is suppose to be with the gun at all times. Pretty sure the time limit to register it is much less than 30 days, but I could be wrong.

UtahIrishman 10-05-2007 22:19

Interesting about the registration in Clark County. I think I'll steer clear of Clark County. Good to know I can travel I-80 to the California Border now without stowing my pistol though.

But alas hit Reno and I have to pull over unload and lock up gun and bullets separately for the last 75 miles to Sacramento. At least no registration is required when visiting in California.

Same for me. 'cept I get to stow my pistol in the lockbox soon as I hit lovely Primm, Nevada.

Now if only we could get California to reciprocate. That would be a kicker, eh?
