Gun Show?

Is anyone going this weekend? Have these become worth it?

Steve Koski 01-08-2008 23:44

I like taking my sons every 3 years or so. Beyond that, I don't see any value in them.

Cokeman 01-10-2008 20:18

They don't allow you to carry inside, do they?

gsr 01-10-2008 20:21

What they don't know won't hurt them.:whistling:

No, but gun shows are rarely held up.

UtahIrishman 01-10-2008 21:11

My wife wants me to go for the bread

Actually the bread is really good. I usually look for bargains and extra mags for my Glock. So yea I'm going.

Cokeman 01-10-2008 22:02

I just don't want to leave my gun in the car.

How much are Glock mags there usually?

GixxerSixxer 01-11-2008 17:55

I carry there every time.

As long as it stays concealed you're fine. If you're bringing in a gun to sell then you have to check it at the door to have the action zip-tied open.

Last year I bought a couple G19 mags for around $15.00 each if I remember correctly. No killer deal but reasonable

Cokeman 01-12-2008 00:28

Sounds good to me. The last mag I bought was $20.

Steve Koski 01-14-2008 22:22

So what treasures/junk followed you home?

Cokeman 01-14-2008 23:06

I didn't end up going. Did you go?

Steve Koski 01-15-2008 08:04

Nuh uh.

muscles 01-15-2008 08:07

i went. ended up with a chili verde burrito and a dr pepper.

UtahIrishman 01-15-2008 19:34

I ended up not going either. The only thing I ended up with was the flu:puking:

Steve Koski 01-15-2008 19:46

Yuck!

I hope you kept your receipt.

How was that Dr. Pepper? I don't think I have had any of my techs over to work on the Expo Center's machines for a month or two.

Steve Koski 01-15-2008 22:50

Anyone ever had hot Dr. Pepper?

I've had it three times, after the finish line at the Cable Bridge Run. Now I don't think it would taste right unless I had just run 5k.

Cokeman 01-15-2008 23:13

Yep. Flat and yucky. :faint:
