Have YOU voted?

Me neither. :) I went to the Smiths at Ann/Decatur right by my house to vote early, and the line was OUT THE DOOR!! :wow: I checked the early voting stats on the elections web site and over 25,000 people have already voted in the first day of early voting. I think that's incredible and I hope they understand the importance of which way they voted.

This is also my kick in the keester for all my fellow NV glockers to go VOTE!!

I voted today at the Albertsons on College/Horizon. It was a PITA due to the democratic plants trying to swing the election. When my dad went they let someone in to vote with an Obama tshirt on (that is illegal).

I'm voting on election day. I'm a fan of the chaos of November 4th.

As a Libertarian I will have to hold my nose when I vote for McCain, but I will be voting for him (I am voting againt Obama, not really voting for McCain).

As much as I would love to vote for Bob Barr, this election is going to be too close to risk Obama winning it by a small percentage.

I agree. This will be the first time in many years I haven't voted Libertarian, but Obama's just too scary.

I got in today, there was no line. I found out that the team at my Smiths is "Mobile Team 4". I checked the election stats today, over 1400 people voted there yesterday AND today. It seems the site at the Galleria mall is the most popular with 3000 voting saturday and 2100 today. The RTC office had 279 people show up yesterday and 0 today. Lovely. We're up to 45,000 total now.

jpa 10-21-2008 02:32

We're up to just shy of 69,000 so far.

I will vote on Nov 4. I don't like the Dem's gun control talk but I don't trust McCain on gun control either.

tactical9mm 10-23-2008 23:40

McCain's past record on the 2nd amendment has been bad. However, he has been given the NRA "stamp of approval" in this election and is currently campaigning with a strong pro-2nd Amendment ticket. His current position is clearly stated on his website.

Compare this to Obama who has been given the brady bunch stamp of approval. The difference is quite clear.

So registered democrats are beating us to the polls 2 to 1 in clark county. I really hope we get a great election day turnout, because we need someone who's more to the middle than the left in the white house.

We voted last weekend at the trailer in the parking lot in front of Circuit City @ Centennial & 215. In and out in 5 minutes.

Look for the places listed as being open throughout the entire early voting period, they are less crowded.

I was able to get my voting done last Sunday, the 2nd day of early voting. I found that going a little later in the day cut down on the lines drastically. Looking at the stats, it looks like the busiest sites by far are in the malls (Galleria, Boulevard and Meadows). Next busiest are in the grocery stores. Either way, it's good to see that people are actually voting.

I finally got my absentee ballot. I just have to fill it out now.

I voted for McCain (begrudgingly). I am not a registered Republican. Not all registered Democrats are voting Obama and not all registered Republicans are voting McCain. No one will know until the votes are counted. If I would have voted along party lines, my ballot would have been cast for Chuck Baldwin. The facts are the facts, but the media will always present them in such a manner as to ensure the correct MESSAGE is sent. The facts are such a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to news stories.

i voted tonight at Durango and Warm Springs. Wait was about 20 minutes.

crazypilot 10-30-2008 03:25

Finally sent out my ballot.

I voted at the Cambridge recreation center this morning. I arrived at 6:45 am and there was a large line outside waiting for the polls to open at 7 am.

Very chaotic inside when they finally opened the doors five minutes late. Even the poll observers were having issues knowing what was going on.

Let's hope in district one this time that we can finally remove Shelley Berkley from office. Good luck to Ken Wegner with that task.

All that remains now is to watch the news, have a few ales and hope that the collective "we the people" do the right thing.

On a side note, I really wanted to OC in there this morning but decided against it because I wasn't sure how it would have gone down.
