Yeah, I noticed that on either side of that date code there weren't any G22's, I suppose it would make sense that they would make them in lots though.

Edit: It actually would make sense that it was built in '97 too, I turned 21 summer of '97 so I started looking for a pistol to buy, I think it was around November or December of that year that I bought the G22. So not quite 13 years yet...lol.
