It just seems the the small gouges on the base of the cartridges are just a little excessive. None of my 1911 do this and they are reloaded to smiler pressures. I do not pipe feed any cartridges. In my opinion it seems like the ejector is hitting the cartridges just a little to hard during extration. I just replaced the guide rod spring to a #22 spring. I have not fired it with that spring and have some unfired cartridges to try.
