i think the majority of people that have had problems with the colt m4 22 rifles have had malfunctions because they didn't read the owners manual prior to firing the gun. there's a spring in the bolt that needs to be adjusted based on what type of ammo you are using. with that said i think the newer batch of SW MP 22's and the sig 522 are better choices over the colt. i have a colt but haven't gotten around to shooting it yet.
