I've found that the Big 3 don't lie about velocities. Which is also why I think 45ACP +P, .40 and 357sig from longslides with 6" barrels are the best thing going for power junkies, long range shooters and (auto) handgun hunters. 10mm rules for reloaders but there is no feasable source of reasonably priced, full power ammunition in this caliber. None.
10mm still makes a great woods gun and even CCI Blazer with it's 200 TMJ @ 1050 is better than anything else out there. I weighed a box of 50 and thanks to it's aluminum cases, is lighter than a 50 round box of .40 165 gr. HST's. An appreciated bonus for long hikes.
