I understand what you're saying. I've had the same experience.

It may not be that you, we, are so much unnoticed as our age, dress, demeanor, and yes, ATTITUDE, desensitizes peoples' reactions to us.

I agree. Attitude has a whole lot to do with how people perceive us. A big attitude, a small attitude, no attitude, people put their own spin on what the attitude you project means.

Kind of like on the internet forums - People continually flip someone off who they know is obligated to not break the rules in response. Yeah, usually that type of stupidity eventually yields the rewards that are earned.

And then there are those trying so hard to be offended that they're imagining things that haven't even been said in a thread.
