Personally, for the purposes of functionality (offensive/defensive), I would not be opposed to using wipes in order to avoid having to spray the can before using it.

But I have not researched suppressor technology in a few years and right now, I'm good with weaponry and focusing on other areas of S&P. Areas covered so far this year have been armor, blades, transportation, etc.

I think I've bought my last gun/weapon for a while. My dealer is probably thinking I'm dead...

Over the years...I get really into weapons systems...then cool off..

..but with the more recent innovations in suppressor technology

.. & new models I think it is a good time to be back "in"!

The Outback II (now IID) is still a great can..

..but after research into my needs...(5.7 being a major consideration)

...the Silencerco Sparrow came out on top... http://www.silencerco.com/?section=P...s&page=Sparrow

.. multi-caliber (.22 LR, .17 HMR, .22 Mag, .22 WMR & 5.728 FNH), features user disassembly, full auto rated, & 41 db of suppression...dry, stainless steel but only 6.5 oz.
