Barrel length has nothing to do with intrinsic accuracy, only velocity. If I remember right 16" is the optimum length for .22lr and any barrel after that just slows the bullet a little.

I have the exact same 10/22...same Tactical Solutions barrel, except I have the blach Hogue stock and a different scope. It will shoot one hole groups all day long. Oh I have a Kidd trigger in it too.
