Your guess would be incorrect, but you might love a story or two
Some years ago I had a boss (CSO, CTO, CIO) who sent an email to the entire company:

Not too long ago I read of a hospital which implemented a new "password security protocol". All passwords had to be 7 characters, and begin with a number; the remaining 6 characters were not case sensitive. I asked "how does that increase security?" No one had an answer.
I have too many pwrds to remember. The ones I know I'll not remember are written down. You need to know where to look and what to look for.
I also like to play games with "security questions" by providing a non-sense answer.
"What is the color of your maiden mother's first pets car?"
