It is easily one of the most reliable pistols of all time. I mean come on.. Mine has jammed once since 1989 and I think it was my fault. I was firing at pie plate (on the move) and probably limp wristed. Heck, back then I never even cleaned the thing.
I dont think I have ever even heard anyone claim to have a reliability problem with a BHP. I do remember several years ago that a top supressor builder stated that the BHP was the only 9mm that he found reliable (out of the box) enough to work with a supressor mounted.
