The i-Dot pros have the proglo front sight and is a little wider to accommodate the colored "ring".
Rear notch is the same on rear sights (ie they are the same. The only difference is the front sight).
There is still plenty of light using a proglo front sight and i-Dot rear.
I didn't realize the difference since I have the pro model
IMO definitely go for the pro so you get the colored ring... As far as I'm concerned that's the best part of the sights
Unfortunately, with all the advances in medical science, there still just isnt any cure for "stupid".
