I have a couple, the Taurus 431 and a Ruger NM Bisley Flattop.

The Taurus would be a nice choice for carry, as it fits any holster made for the K frame S&W. It's reasonably comfortable to shoot with defensive loads, being all steel. If you can get around just having five shots in a full sized gun, it'll do the job. Takes the same speedloaders as the Bulldog, IIRC.

The Ruger is fun too, would make a great outdoors/hunting gun. Very accurate.

It's easy to load, doesn't have a lot of working parts...ya ain't gotta be that accurate, the further away you are the more **** you hit."
