Not here to argue... 
In 25 years (now a former guide) I have seen 44 special bring down very large game animals. I don't know why so many are so afraid of this caliber. I suppose they just do not understand it, or have not been in the field for 50 oveveral years with it on large game.... I mean NO disrespect in that statement.
