Its great to hear all your stories on the .22 rifles. I have a third which is a Savage Model 6A. Its well used and requires cleaning after about eighty rounds through it. It belonged to my Dad and I acquired it about two years ago from my oldest brother. Its missing the right extractor but is still a tack driver today. Started looking for replacement part at Numrich to get it back in full service. The stock is well nicked up and I prefer to shoot it over the Ruger 10/22 that my son has. My son doesn't like it because his is newer, but one day he will understand that that old gun is still a damn good shootin firearm.
