1. If it had been a Lab or a Golden, we'd have never likely heard about it outside the local newspaper.
2. Most people wouldn't know a Pitbull if they were lookin' straight at one. I read a newspaper account of a dog attack that named the dog as a Pitbull. Turned out to be a Lab.
