Emails being sent by a virus

Operating sys- Win ME
Browser- Netscape 7.0- used for mail also
Connection- DSL

Latest NAV definitions

Zone alarm

I noticed some bounced emails that I didn't send. They all went to some crazy email address that seems to be made up.
In a couple of them my ISP, Earthlink said they cleaned the virus from it.

I think there's some sort of virus doing it, but I did a full sys scan with NAV and it came up clean.

Any ideas?
