Finished a real good book last week...

It's called "Flying Blind: How Political Correctness Continues to Compromise Airline Security Post 9/11:. It's written by Michael Smerconish, who has a program on an AM station in Philly.

For those of you who may not know, I work for TSA as a screener, and I have to say, I agree with a lot of what Smerconish says. We should be profiling the people that are willing to do anything to kill us. We shouldn't be handwanding 85yo women with aluminum walkers.

It had a lot of interesting discussion about the DOT, Norm Mineta, the 9/11 Commission, United and American Airlines, etc. It was reasonably priced @ $16.95 and near to my heart as my career as a screener has made me very intersted in airport security (or lack thereof) and PC policy wonks.

Anybody else read this?
