I've got the Leupold VXII 3x9 50mm. I've had it for about 20 years and it's has seen quite a bit of use. It's a decent scope but I would be interested in hearing about the Bushnell.

Many people are saying that Leupold has issues these days. I have several including a 3X9-40 VXII...never had a minutes trouble. They have fantastic customer service and fast turnaround. I once slipped on some rocks with my Mark 4 M1 10x and damaged it. Even though I am not the original purchaser and it was my own fault they still fixed it no charge {Mark 4 Ultra series are guaranteed for life to whoever owns it at the time.} All the complaining some guys are doing may not all be unfounded but I haven't seen it. I do agree they should have been offered mil/mil FFP scopes and also should be offering to convert older mil/moa turrets for owners. As far as Redfield...they are in bussiness, out, back in, out.....not for me.

Of those two the Leupold VXII. Personally I would take a Nikon Monarch over either one easily.
