Cleaning kit is stuck?
Picked up an Arseanl SGL-21 today for a price that I couldn't refuse(that's for another post ), and the cleaning kit is stuck in the stock. Any suggestions or getting it out? It appears to be pushed back to far?

Did you try taking the Butt plate off so that you can just pull it out?

I just think it would be a lot easier to remove the plate. The screws should come right out.
I would check the spring to see if it is to big for the cleaning kit. I bought a K-Var stock for my SAR1 and the spring did the same as yours did.
I bought another spring at the Gun Show and replaced the original one and I never had a problem after that. I hope this helps.

Easier?
It's like two 1" slotted screws. It doesn't get easier.

I got it out, it appears that there is something in the spring channel that's catching the spring, I got it out though and yes it was easy...

This is really common on the Arsenal (K-Var) stock. Mine did the same, sold the gun due to several other small but nagging issues as well.
I'm not sure what the fix is, I've heard one must file away inside the channel.

With the buttplate removed you can see where the cleaning kit is sticking/binding. File the places you see that it is sticking and all will be well.
That's what I did to mine and it works great now. Simple fix. Just take your time and check and recheck.
