Just got a gently used (only fired 300rds) G26 its a gen 2 97 model....i've noticed it has a different extractor than my current gen 3....is this part worth replacing?

You can replace it with an LCI extractor if you like. See one here http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.a...TERM=extractor
Remember to also replace the spring loaded bearing.

thanks,i think i might do that in the near future. i just looked up the serial it was made june of 96. but it has honestly 300rds through it.....5 at most i can tell just by looking at the wear or lack thereof. shouldn't imagine any parts actually NEED replacing though. i do like the newer extractor for the loaded chamber indicator.
