well it's mainly used for home defense so a flashlight is a must and for me its easier to put a red dot on something than line up sights.

Got this last month and added the ATI AR stock...
Not a fan of the stock, so I currently have on order a Knoxx SpecOps. Also have on order a Mesa 6 shell carrier, Hogue Handall and Hogue forend. I hate waiting. I'll post updated pics when it all come in.

Hello Blaster: Check out our new Universal Shotgun Sight for your shotgun. It might be the ticket, along with your light: advantagetactical.com. Go to the production update page and the on-line store of detailed info.

Remington 870 Express Magnum (old style), with 18.5" 870P barrel.
Surefire 618 forend light
Wilson Jumbo head safety
Wilson Hi Viz shell follower with Wolff stainless steel magazine spring
XS 24/7 Big Dot night sights
GG&G Single point sling adapter
No side saddle (I personally don't like 'em)
Latest picture of the SG with the recently installed XS sights. Which BTW I love.

I'm thinking of putting the same sights on my 870. Your happy with them?

Such a good point. I think I'll keep my 870 as is for now. But the AR-15 will receive much love soon.

Wow every where I go on the net I hear that same thing! What will the jury think! Who cares the jury is the last thing I'll be thinking about when I'm forced to use deadly force as a last resort!
If it's a righteous shoot I should never be in front of a jury! But if I am I'll be just as adamant then as now. It's a gun people it's made to do massive damage!

I'm with the grunt,
This is as tackycool as my shotguns get:
6 shot Mossberg 500 with heavy wall 18.5" barrel and screw in chokes.

I love my shotgun but I am looking for a better flashlight mount for the 20 gauge. Any ideas?

I like that chopped forend. Well done. Might do that to mine but...then it would be tacticool Seriously....I just might but also shoot birds with it (28" barrel) so I'm not sure.

simple is better. only thing id add(and id never have one on a pistol) is a gun light or at least a spot for one. I HATE gun lights on pistols as you can use your weak hand for the light..but on a shotty you kinda need both hands..But I LOVE SIMPLE much more than tacticool with a bunch on nonsense hanging off it . VERY nice gun.

This is a really good point. If you have the light mounted and "loose" the weapon, you loose both. But if you have the weapon in one hand and light in the other and loose one, you still have the other. You may still be able to shoot or may be able to temporarily distract your assailant. Smacking your assailant one the side of the head or in the throat with the light even works.
Wise statement.
