My Kimson (Kimber plus WIlson)

Well some people will hate me for this but after a few years of frustration with my Wilson in regard to its sights I found a solution. The problem was the Wilson the night sights that came with it. The front sights white outline wore out quickly and soon it was actually easier to see the rear sights than the front. I got a 10-8 rear sight later and I like it but the front sight was still a problem. I then tried an Ashley small dot and its not bad for close up work but its imprecise for longer work and my point of impact is 4 inches low with this at 25 yards. Wilson would not modify my slides front sight dovetail for me and install a Truglo fiber optic front sight. The local smiths would not either. I am open to suggestions to good smiths. The front sight dove tail on the Kimber is larger so it should be a simple matter of opening up the dove tail to fit the Kimber front sight. I imagine Wilson would not help me because they want to sell you their own sights. None of which I have found acceptable. The gun itself is excellent. I am also contemplating having the Wilson top end mated to the Kimber lower.
I took the Kimson out and put a few hundred rounds through it without malfunction and it shot as well as the Kimber or Wilson did for me before. This combination is what I would want from Wilson right from the factory.
